"Resurrection" 3/31/26

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Mary didn't see him coming. She stood weeping outside the tomb and looking in she saw the angels. Then she turned and saw him, but thought he was the gardener. Only when Jesus called her name did she realize He was her Teacher and Lord (see John 20:11-18).
Sometimes we take for granted the moment Jesus first appeared to his disciples. Think of it, the shock and awe and grief turned to delight. We're grown accustomed to the resurrection of Jesus, but this was not a customary event. So it is good for us to take some time to hear these stories again and worship the one whom death could not overcome.
How will you make time to focus on Christ Crucified and Risen this week?
I leave you with the following verse to reflect on...
"“Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades."
(Revelation 1:17-18)
Grace & Peace,
Matt
